Love Nora Ephron.

Here are my recs:

Nonfiction: Bossypants by Tina Fey
(or Yes, Please by Amy Poehler)

For the Broadway musical lover: Finishing the Hat, by Sondheim (also timely with Into the Woods coming out)

Something for a teen girl: Glitch, by Heather Anastasiu (high-concept with a compelling love story)

For you: The Selection, by Keira CassKaren McCoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02640324898284007337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23051453.post-2130386437061542012014-12-11T18:46:03.770-05:002014-12-11T18:46:03.770-05:00For the teen girl, a mature teen girl who you thin...For the teen girl, a mature teen girl who you think might like sci-fi, The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker. (MC is a teenage girl). It is a wonderful book, awesome story and most of all it opens your mind to the "all is not lost" concept, even if the unimaginable happens slowly.

If you have a mother with teenagers on your list, and she is close to staring down the crook of the branch to an empty nest, and wondering where she fits into a world of change, The Gift of an Ordinary Day by Katrina Kenison. Actually Kenison's laments fit most busy lives almost perfectly.

So there you have, my suggestions. Great to have you back blogging.
